I love the Log Lady too. She's unique :big grin

My favourite part of the pilot may be the scenes where you see the residents dealing with the announcement of Laura's death. Dale Cooper coming in TP is also a great moment to me. His kindness reminds me a bit of Darren, btw.

Did anyone watch TP over the weekend?  i will try to catch up this coming week.  I don't remember much about Dale Cooper, except that he's also quirky.   I will keep in mind that you think he's kind, Jeremy.  :happy face

Geez, thanks Jeremy for that reminder!  If you hadn't reminded me, I probably would have jumped to Episode 2 and skipped Episode 1.  Would have been so confused.  confused scratch

So, I've rewatched Episode 1. I think it's a bit less dramatic than the pilot. I have a few favourite moments :
- the opening scene with Dale (well, almost every scene including Dale, actually)
- Audrey meeting Dale for the first time (I love the interactions between these two characters) and fighting with his father
- Nadine buying cotton in the shop :big grin
- Donna's storyline
- the Log Lady intro and her scene later

Watched the episode.  Favorite part was when the log lady suggested to Dale that he should ask her log what it knows about Laura's murder.  She looks at him.  Silence.  Then she retorts, "I thought so!"   :big grin

The fish  in the coffee pot.  :happy face

That's okay for me.

There are only 30 episodes in seasons 1-2 and season 3 won't air before spring 2017. So, we have time.

Episode 2 may be one of my favourites.

I particularly love the introduction of Jack with One Eye and the Red Lodge. I hope these places will be seen in season 3.

And I think Jerry is an interesting character.

Jeremy, on Netflix, the first episode is Pilot, then Episode 2, Episode 3, etc.  So I watched tonight Episode 3:  "Zen, or the Skill to Catch a Killer."

haha!  The two brothers are Ben and Jerry (since I am fond of Ben and Jerry ice cream), who visit One-eyed Jack.  Is the "new girl" at the brothel the other kidnap victim, Ronette?  And Ben used to sing to Laura?  Weird.  Is "J" (in Laura's diary) = Jerry?

Agent Cooper's dreams seem like acid trips.   Bob is one creepy character, but then again so is Leo.   And Laura's father is pretty creepy too.

I love how quirky Agent Cooper and Lucy are.  Agent Cooper blowing a duck whistle for no apparent reason, with a goofy smile.  Lucy and her weird love of stacking donuts in neat little stacks.  :happy face

I can post about Episode 4 sometime next week.  :happy face

No, Ronette is at the hospital :amused

And Laura's father is pretty creepy too.

I think he's just a father in shock after the death of his daughter. In the next episodes, there are also a few funny moments involving him. Actually, a scene involving Catherine and him may be one of my favourite TP scenes.

I will rewatch the next episode (Episode 3 for people who use the box set) next weekend.

Hi Jeremy, thanks for the answer about Ronette.   Yes, ok, I can understand about Laura's dad.   Sorry, which character is Catherine?   I need to memorize the characters' names still.

So are you and I in sync, with the box set and Netflix numbering the episodes differently. Or are you ahead of me by one episode?

So I will watch what Netflix says is Episode 4 (which the box set calls Episode 3?)  tonight or tomorrow and post this coming week.

We're in sync but maybe we should use the episode names from now on. So, the next one is Rest in pain.
