backstabberlie I was shaking as I walked up to @darrencriss. I’m a HUGE fan, but my cousin Nicholas was a way bigger fan. A lot of you know he passed away in January, and I have been trying so hard to be just “okay”. All I could do when I walked up was spill my guts to Darren real quick, cry, and show him the thumbprint necklace I have of Nick’s. On the back of the medallion, I have a quote from glee. He grabbed Nick’s thumbprint and said “I’m holding it super tight!” Before I could start crying, he threw his arms up to the sky and said “NICHOLAS!!!! THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING SHOW!!!!!!” He continued to write out on my playbill “Natalie, thank you so much! This ones for Nick!” He gave me a hug and kiss and said “Now go, before I start crying.” Darren…. you MADE my 30th birthday, you made my year better. You are the kindest person EVER, and you care so much about every single one of your fans.
