 I wanted to go to this concert.  It's just that we had a death in the family, and at the end, my mood was not great.  It sounds like it was a fantastic concert in a valued venue.  I love this person's comment.  It sounds as if she became a fan of Darren via ACS Versace.  "A weirdly diverse set."    Darren is a lover of all types of music, and he's a songwriter as well as a musician.  haha.  Her references to how Darren used to sing at Maggiano and his singing of Ducktales.

He also had a weirdly diverse set which included original songs, standards he’d sing at Maggianos (wat?), numbers from his Harry Potter Musical (?!?), Hopelessly Devoted to You, Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream, and the Ducktales theme. DUCKTALES. I can only imagine that’s a first for Largo. . Go check this guy out if you can, turns out he’s crazy talented. Just know there will be screaming girls in the audience too.

DarrenCriss: Sang this last night for Gianni Versace. Umberto Tozzi’s version would’ve been a hit in Italy when Gianni opened his 1st shop. I’d like to think this song reminded him of early days of success, the days he’d enjoy before blossoming into an international superstar. Per te, Gianni!

largolosangeles: #DarrenCriss brought a band to our stage last night 06/11/18 and got down. True pros, all, and Darren moved the room and smiled the whole time. Cool dude!

Yes, they sort of can pass as siblings.  You're welcome, dusty.  My pleasure.  It seems the tour is going well--the venues look pretty full.

They do sound very good together. 

I agree, "Make You Feel My Love" is so emotional.  I always think of Cory, and the fact that it's done without any microphone makes it more real and grounded.   I did laugh too about "Genie in a Bottle." 

The song that Darren sang was "Gloria," which was featured prominently in ACS Versace.  In his recent June 11, 2018, concert (just him, not one of the LMDC concerts) in Los Angeles, at the Largo at the Coronet, Darren sang Umberto Tozzi's version in Italian.    See below.

Oh ok, it seems what Darren was talking about at the beginning of the video above, was a fan objecting to his doing a cover of "Ignition" by R. Kelley, who has had quite a bad record covered in the media about sexual abuse of women (which I didn't realize until now).  For this reason, I'm not going to post the performance of "Ignition" that occurred at the Chicago venue.

I'm not really sure what happened with GF.  Someone had told me that the administrators were asking for donations for the forum.  I'm guessing that  they probably didn't get enough donations from members to keep it up, but that's just a guess.
