I adore that pic above and still hope that a good video of OoL with the full animation showing pops up one day. Our seats were a bit off to the side and I would love to see this beautiful scene fully from the front.

In other ~Darren Criss is a Nice Human Being~ news, the security guard at stage door got to talking with one of the women waiting beside me, and said that Darren is easily in his top five favourite people he’s worked with in his 37 years on the job, for being so easygoing and kind (Patrick Swayze, Patrick Stewart, and Megan Hilty also made the list).

Which, btw, we ALMOST MISSED BECAUSE I HAD THE WRONG TIME but thanks to an Instagram post by @sunsetstrippa, I realized my mistake and we raced over to the @hollywoodpantagestheatre and made it JUST IN TIME. (I was literally standing in whole foods with a full cart at 12:10 when I realized the show was at 1pm) I love Hedwig so much and was so blown away by Darren and his beautiful performance. Also, @sunsetstrippa is the cutest.

Aw, so Darren and the Hedwig tour said good-bye to San Francisco today (Sunday, October 30).   I can imagine how folks are feeling sad about this.   (Lilikoiluv, don't be too sad.  )  But I am so glad of the great memories that seeing Darren in this heartfelt work of art, that have been gifted his fans, including our lovely Lilikoiluv. 


And I'm so glad--that based on reviews and tweets, including from a few Hedheads who saw him in SF--that Darren has only gotten stronger in the role.   Stupendous job, Darren!     I am sooooo proud of you, man!   


And the next chapter is Darren begins the Los Angeles leg of the Hedwig tour on Tuesday (Los Angeles:  November 1- November 27).   Hubby and I are seeing Darren on Thursday.  I am so looking forward to it.  This will be an evening show (the show I saw on Broadway with him in the role was a matinee), so I am curious as to how that makes a different experience.

Paul McGill has been great about posting on social media for the Hedwig family!

Cool pic from HedwigOnBway!  It does look like fan art from someone, doesn't it?   And so very San Francisco!   I guess for L.A., they can post a pic of the Hollywood sign.

Darren makes us all look bad.   It's not enough that he does a strenuous show where he sings the majority of the songs, and executes challenging choreography, but he also works out in the morning!
